A damp scent in the forest, the mist enveloping the trees, the first fertile rays of dawn gently slicing through it. The earth welcoming like a mother, the dewdrops on the rough wood of the trunks, the scent of life awakening, the undergrowth in ferment.
There are a select number of scents so deeply embedded in our DNA that they seem to evoke similar sentiments in almost everyone who smells them. One of these is nestled warmly in this fragrance. Legnosa & Muschiata translates to woody and musky. This perfume is the intoxicating perspiration of the earth’s forest floor. It is thick, humid, ever so slightly sweet, and reminiscent of what a pile of fragrant leaves and mulch would smell like at its core, yet rendered ultra sensual. It is an ode to the sacred nature of trees and to the mycelium that acts as a divine web of intelligence, quietly linking roots, sustaining life, and giving the forest its depth, fertility, and sacred cohesion.
Interestingly, it is not petrichor but an adjacent olfactory territory entirely its own. I am obsessed with it and love sharing it with customers to hear their thoughts and impressions.
