Poltergeist invites the wearer on a late-night motorcycle ride through a lush, dense pine forest, a fragrance inspired by the physical energy of spirits themselves. But this is no soothing forest. It's the forest alive, watching, rattling from the inside.
A Poltergeist is a chaotic spirit, a sacred disturbance that doesn't haunt gently. This fragrance is one of sharp, herbal charge wrapped in smoke and splinters. It begins with the volatile green shimmer of pine needle and juniper's gin-bite, cold and resinous, cut with the ghostly bitterness of mysterious wormwood (or Artemisia Absinthium, the key ingredient in the nefarious drink absinthe). Then the smoke comes: scorched birch tar rising in dark curls, cade oil smoldering at the edges, frankincense burning clean through the middle like an invocation. Labdanum anchors it all with molten depth, thick, golden, slightly feral.
A limited re-release of one of Douglas Little's first original creations, Poltergeist is back for Fall, but only in very limited quantities! This perfume is part smoke, part green, and all wild magic.
