Artemisia, Rose, Juniper, Sage, Sandal wood, Cinnamon

According to Pliny the Elder, the name Artemisia derives from Artemis, goddess of the hunt. Mugwort is, in this sense, the essence of women, a celebration of tenacity, strength, and endurance. Name as program.

Artemisia Gentileschi painted her Danaë, her Mary Magdalene, her Lucrezia with devastating realism, the brush tracing rebellion and redemption in equal measure.

The essential oil carries that same charge. Its evocative quality is well documented; Eastern traditions credit it with the ability to realign the chakras. It pairs naturally with juniper, Arkheutos, "the one who drives away the enemy," a psychic restorative that returns strength and courage.

Sage deepens the composition. Its oil has long been favored by artists for its reputed euphoric effect: a lifter of spirits, a caller of calm and positive memory.

The result is a perfume that restores boldness, disperses anxiety, and returns vital energy. Until cinnamon arrives, unexpected and faintly mischievous, and pinches everything alive.

This fragrance appears in Fuga en mi Menor by South American writer Sandra Lorenzano.

Rinascimento collection:

To enclose these special perfumes we have chosen a high quality French glass whose shape recalls our herbal tradition and a wengè wood cap that testifies to our passion for nature.

i PROFUMI di FIRENZE

Caterina Sforza de’ Medici has been, in 1400,  the first ever writer of perfumed waters, cosmetics recipes and natural remedies. Thanks to her manuscript “Experimenti”,Florence became the world capital of perfume. Dr. Giovanni Di Massimo, renowned pharmacist and perfumer, derives inspiration from that maniscript and form this high-caliber epoch of Florentine perfumery, with an aim to resurrect and continue this rich historical legacy.
All the fragrances and perfumes “i PROFUMI di FIRENZE”created by Spezierie Palazzo Vecchio are known and appreciated for their refinement, the intense use of natural raw materials and for their persistence thanks to the wise  and generous use of base notes.
